About Camp
Laity Lodge Youth Camp
My Job |
I was a senior counselor in the oldest guy cabin, called Cabin 4, which houses campers going into their junior year of high school. A senior counselor is simply one who has completed his or her sophomore year in college. My job was to keep my campers safe, get them to events and activities on time, foster an environment of spiritual growth, and show them what brotherhood among Christian men looks like. Not only was I paid to be there, but I also got to grow significantly in my faith, and make incredible friends in a really fun environment.

Why is camp special? |
Summer camps offer a unique opportunity to escape from the routine of everyday life. The people you meet working at a summer camp end up being some of the best friends you could ever have. Not to mention that most people who work at camps, are just downright fun people. Camp challenges you to grow more than any other job, and you leave with life skills you didn't even realize you were getting.
